At Pace Johnson Law Group, we believe that access to justice is not just a principle-it’s a promise that every Utahn deserves a fair opportunity to understand & navigate the legal system. We are guided by two guiding principles: changing lives and enriching the community.
Yet, for many, the path to justice remains blocked by barriers: complex procedures, high costs, & a lack of clear information. Inspired by our previous work, the work of the Utah State Bar’s Access to Justice Commission & the broader movement to make legal help available to more people, our firm is launching a new initiative to listen, learn, with the objective of continuing to lead positive change in our community.
That’s why we’re inviting individuals who have experience with the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole (BOPP)-whether past, present, or upcoming-to participate in our “Increasing Access to Justice Survey.” Our goal is simple: to gather real stories and feedback that shine a light on the challenges people face and the support they need. Your input will help us and our partners identify practical solutions, improve legal services, and advocate for reforms that make the justice system more accessible, transparent, and compassionate. We are committed to sharing what we learn with the public and with organizations dedicated to justice, ensuring your voice helps shape a system that works for everyone-not just those who can afford it. By taking part in this survey, you are joining a statewide conversation about fairness, dignity, and the right to be heard. Together, we can break down barriers, build trust, and foster a Utah where access to justice is a reality for all. Thank you for helping us move this mission forward-one story, one insight, and one reform at a time. Please click on the link below to contribute to increasing access to justice in Utah.
