Clients
Client files and records
If you were a client of Pace Johnson Law Group and need a copy of your file, need records transferred to new counsel, or have a question about a matter the firm handled, contact:

Client files will be retained and made available in accordance with the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct. Unless a different period was stated in your engagement agreement, the firm will retain closed client files for a minimum of five (5) years after the representation ended. Files in criminal, post-conviction, and Board of Pardons and Parole matters will be retained for the longer of five (5) years or the duration of the client's sentence, supervision, or registration obligation. Original estate-planning documents held by the firm will be returned to the client or the client's designated representative and will not be destroyed.
Requests for files should include your name, the approximate dates of representation, and the name of the attorney who handled your matter. Files are provided at no charge to the client.
Deadlines and ongoing matters
If you believe you have an open matter or an upcoming deadline that has not been addressed, contact the firm at the address above immediately. Do not assume any other law firm is monitoring your matter unless you have signed an engagement agreement with that firm.
